Perimeter detection typically consists of a few detection zones providing information that is collected and aggregated into a control system that monitors the entire perimeter. Fence Mounted Detectors
Fence mounted detectors are typically deployed over existing regular metal fences and walls. Magal S³ offers the broadest variety of sensor technologies varying in sensitivity and price. All of them provide high sensitivity for intruders including determining attempts to climb or cut the structure.

Volumetric  Sensors are based on electromagnetic or electrostatic fields whereby disturbance of these fields by an intruder causes an alarm.

Magal S³ offers the leading covert (buried cable) perimeter intrusion detection sensor in the market.

The latest generation of this sub-terrain coaxial cable, like buried radar, provides detection location of a target within a few meters, through its ranging capability.
